Painter, printmaker and black-and-white artist. Born in Lincoln, he studied at the School of Art there, Atelier Colarossi, Paris, Académie des Beaux-Arts, Antwerp, at Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts and at John Hassall’s poster school, in London. Exhibited RA, RBA, RI, in the provinces and at the Paris Salon. Glasgow Museum and Art Galleries hold his work. Lived in Lincoln.
