Painter, sculptor and teacher, born in Oldham, Lancashire. He studied at Wolverhampton School of Art and the Royal College of Art. Was for a time attached to Derby School of Art. Showed at RA, RI, Wertheim and Storran Galleries and elsewhere and had solo shows at Wolverhampton Art Gallery and Museum and in Birmingham. The Wolverhampton gallery holds his work. Lived for a time in Derby, then in Shardlow, Derbyshire.
