Painter, artist in black-and-white and teacher, born in Dublin. Studied at Royal Hibernian Academy School with Dermod O’Brien, 1916–21, and at Goldsmiths’ College School of Art, 1921–2, under Edmund J Sullivan and Frederick Marriott. Exhibited extensively in Ireland, including RHA, and LG, Tempera Society and SGA. Was an art teacher attached to the Ministry of Health just after World War II. Lived in London.
