Artist born in Manchester, where he attended the Polytechnic, also Wolverhampton Polytechnic. He travelled on the continent and spent several periods in Israel, returning to England in 1983 and settling in London three years later. Showed with MAFA, where he won a prize in 1985; in 1986 at Ben Uri Art Society, which acquired his work, and at Leo Solomon Gallery in Rochdale; and in 1993 at Five Dryden Street Gallery.
