Painter, born in Hertford, who completed a foundation course at Herts College of Art and Design, St Albans, 1983, gaining a diploma in fine art from Byam Shaw School of Art from 1984. Group shows included Sue Williams Gallery, 1988; Six Painters from Porthleven, Porthmeor Gallery, St Ives, 1990; South-West Open Exhibition, Plymouth City Museum & Art Gallery and Plymouth Arts Centre, 1992, where she was first prizewinner; Peninsular Journeys, Coventry and Middlesex Universities’ Art Galleries, 1993; Royal Over-Seas League Open and Millfield Open, where she won a first prize, both 1995, and Meynell Fenton Prize, Discerning Eye, Mall Galleries, 1999. Had a solo show at St Helier Galleries, Jersey, 1989, later ones including Cadogan Contemporary, 2000 and 2001.
