Painter and draughtsman, born in Sidcup, Kent, who was educated at Christ’s Hospital, Horsham. In Sydney, Australia, studied with Will Ashton, 1928–49, and is widely represented in Australian collections, including Imperial War Museum, Canberra. Back in England studied with Robin Guthrie and Ralph Middleton Todd at City and Guilds Art School, 1950–1, and showed at ROI, Fine Art Society and St Ives Society of Artists, of which he was a member. Lived for some years at Copthorne, Sussex.
