Self-taught painter and draughtsman, born in Kiambu, near Nairobi, Kenya, part of his childhood being spent in India. His early work was portraits and nudes before he concentrated on wildlife. Took part in many international exhibitions and held solo shows, later ones including a series in 2000 at The Gallery in Cork Street; Nature in Art, Twigworth; and The Ringstead Gallery, Ringstead, all in aid of the The Blue Cross animal welfare charity. Art Genesis Ltd published prints of his work, which was in the collections of Sir John Mills, Rula Lenska, Midge Ure and the Earl of Moray.
