Gladys Marguerite Baker (1889–1959)

Painter and draughtsman, notable for her portraits, born and lived in London. She was educated at Queen’s College, St John’s Wood Art School and Royal Academy Schools, winning a silver medal for composition there. Showed at RBA, RI, NPS, in the provinces and America and frequently at RA, finally in 1947.
