Painter and teacher, born in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire. He studied at local Technical High School, then at Wolverhampton College of Art, 1954–8, and Bournemouth College of Art, 1962. Went on to teach at Northumberland College of Higher Education, 1962–79. Showed at RP, at RBSA where he was a prizewinner in the Open exhibition, 1986, and had several solo shows. National Library of Wales, Aberystwyth, holds his work. Lived in Aberdovey, Gwynedd.
