Painter, draughtsman, printmaker and teacher, born in Lurgan, Armagh, Northern Ireland, attending Belfast College of Art, 1961–5, then Brighton College of Art, 1965–7. Before returning to Northern Ireland, between 1965–76 he taught for periods at Goldsmiths’ College School of Art and Ravensbourne College of Art. Ran a print workshop at Arts Council of Northern Ireland headquarters, Belfast. Exhibitions included Queen’s University in Belfast, Serpentine Gallery, Upper Street Gallery, Arnolfini Gallery in Bristol and Tom Caldwell’s Galleries in Belfast and Dublin. Queen’s University and Ulster Museum hold examples. Lived in Belfast.
