Painter in oil and gouache, draughtsman in ink. Born in London, he studied at Chelsea School of Art, 1933–5, under Graham Sutherland and Harold Sandys Williamson. Exhibited at LG, AIA, Leicester Galleries in the provinces and in Paris. The City of Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery holds his work. Lived in Norwich.
