Painter of flowers, portraits and landscapes, including views of Paris and Venice, who studied at Glasgow School of Art. Became a member of the Kirkcudbright School, where she lived from the mid-1930s, and exhibited at RSA, Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, RA, SWA and Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. Was included in Still Life in the Twentieth Century at Bourne Fine Art, Edinburgh, 1999. McLean Museum and Art Gallery, Greenock, owned her work.
