Painter, initially educated in Uppsala, Sweden. Studied architecture at Glasgow School of Art in 1900, after which he practised for a number of years. Later studied painting at St John’s Wood School of Art, 1916, the following year in Munich. His work was featured in The Studio and Colour magazines and he showed at RA, Fine Art Society, ROI, RBA and in Paris. Huddersfield Art Gallery holds his work. Joined Art Workers’ Guild in 1945. Lived in London.
