Painter, printmaker and lecturer, born in Bedford, who studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, 1961–6, gaining an Abbey Travelling Scholarship in Painting, British School at Rome, 1965. She lectured in art and design at Lowestoft College of Further Education and held residencies at The Manor House, Bury St Edmunds, and Norwich Castle Museum. Group shows included Heffer Gallery, Cambridge, 1992; Eastern Open, King’s Lynn, 1994; and Ipswich Open, Christchurch Mansion, Ipswich, 1995. Among solo exhibitions were Arts Centre Gallery, Lowestoft, and Martha Stevns Gallery, Fressingfield, both 1995. Arts Council, Victoria & Albert Museum, Bradford City Art Gallery, Eastern Arts Board and other public collections in England and Germany held examples.
