Painter, born in Eastbourne, Sussex. He studied at Putney and Chelsea Schools of Art and was for a time an advertisement manager. Produced the book Musical Colour, lectured and founded Wimbledon Art Group, becoming president. Showed with RA, RP, RBA, UA and at Paris Salon. Lived in New Malden, Surrey.
