The learning resources on Art UK would not have been possible to create and share without the generous support of our funders.

We are particularly grateful to the Wolfson Foundation, Oakmoor Trust, Bridget Riley Foundation, Tavolozza Foundation, Holliday Foundation and Bank of America. These funders, as well as many other generous trusts and individuals, enabled us to create the Learning Portal.

The Superpower of Looking pilot

We would like to thank the Freelands Foundation for their support of our Superpower of Looking pilot. Using the world of art and images to help hone children's visual literacy skills, this set of free teaching resources will equip children with invaluable life skills, helping them to observe, question and understand the world around them, while also encouraging a love of art. Subject to funding the second stage of this initiative will launch in autumn 2021, with brand-new lesson ideas and a series of films focused on the five painting genres, all of which will be made available on the Art UK website.

Sculpture project

We are also very grateful to the institutions and individuals who have supported our learning programme over the years, which has allowed the creation of many of the resources that you can now find on the Learning Portal.

We would like to particularly acknowledge the following institutions for their support:

The National Lottery Heritage Fund for its substantial support of our project to digitise the nation's sculpture collection - a project that included a very significant element of public engagement and schools learning activities.

Arts Council England for supporting all of the Sculpture project activities in England.

The Esmee Fairbairn Foundation for their support of our Sculpture Around You programme.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation for supporting our Masterpieces in Schools programme.

Finally, we would like to thank all of the trusts and individuals who supported our Sculpture project.
