Culture& is an independent arts and education charity formed in 1988 and based in London. Formerly known as Cultural Co-operation, they work in partnership with arts and heritage institutions and artists to develop programmes that promote diversity in the workforce and expand audiences. Culture& aims to open up the arts and heritage sectors through workforce initiatives and public programmes.

Art UK has worked with Culture& since 2019 as part of their New Museum School programme, which they ran in collaboration with A New Direction and was supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The New Museum School addressed Culture&'s core strategic objective to open up who makes and enjoys arts and heritage. The programme included training in conservation, collections management, digitisation, public engagement and traditional craft skills for the restoration of heritage. Culture& developed a consortium of partners who have a commitment to diversify the workforce and invest in skills to tackle sector shortages and access a new generation of talent.

Art UK's New Museum School Trainee from 2019 to 2020 was Hermenia Powers.
