Helston Museum covers three floors and five exhibition halls. The vast social history collection covers local history from the 18th to the 20th century, and there is a particularly fine costume collection. Regular art exhibitions are held in the mezzanine gallery and there is a rolling programme of activities and lectures. Admission is free. Helston Museum has disabled access and dogs on leads are welcome. The Museum is open to the public from Monday–Saturday, 10am–4pm.
