More about

The Royal Engineers Museum, Library and Archive's collection showcases the work of the Corps over the centuries, and contains both works of art produced by serving soldiers themselves, and portraits by commercial artists such as Louis William Desanges. The collection has been built up since the 1850s, and continues to grow to this day, covering the full remit of the Corps's work, with works donated by the artists or their families. This generosity allows the continued growth of this important collection.
