One or two tall trees and other smaller trees to left and right can be seen in this work. Tall grass or undergrowth occupies the lower quarter of the work and numerous clouds sweep across the sky behind the trees. The Sky is deepish blue, with pinkish/orangey clouds. All is handled freely with large brush strokes. The dominant tree (just right of the centre) comprises of three tiers of branches and foliage. Two main smaller trees on the extreme left and right are of two tiers.
