The portrait shows the Reverend Peter Mignot in his ecclesiastical robes with his CBE insignia. Mignot presented the original Mignot Memorial Hospital to his native Alderney in 1926. This restored portrait was unveiled in 2008 at the official opening of the redevelopment of the present hospital.
