An impressionist painting offering a view of whitewashed Mediterranean farmhouse on a gentle hillside, bathed in sunlight and surrounded by trees and exotic plants, with steps leading up from the pathway to the house. Great, silver and green aloe plants are a dramatic feature of the foreground, depicted growing in a wild fashion. Every object in the frame is flooded with sunlight, producing many silver and white tones in the painting.
