'Still Life No. 1', is one of a series of still lifes that Mulholland produced in 1995. Every motif he paints is selected for a reason. Technically he is very interested in the use of glazes as practised by the seventeenth-century Masters. Mulholland’s work is contantly evolving recently he has began experimenting with digital video animation and sound.
