The artist was born in Mexico but now lives in Scotland and has a studio in Edinburgh. She has travelled widely and previously lived in Peru, Switzerland and America. Her travels have influenced her greatly, as has the landscape of Scotland which features heavily in her work. She works in a number of media: this work demonstrates her work in oil and beeswax but she is also a printmaker and etcher.
