Artist, mostly in oil, born in Manchester. She studied at Johannesburg Technical College, in South Africa, 1947–8, then at Macclesfield College of Further Education, 1962–5. Pilkington was made a member of ROI in 1976 and of SWA in 1985. She showed with MAFA, RBA, UA, Paris Salon and with groups in Jersey, Channel Islands, where she settled in Grouville. Barreau Art Gallery, St Helier, which holds her work, gave her a solo show in 1976.
