Painter and teacher, born in Cardiff, where she attended the School of Art. Also studied at Wimbledon School of Art and London University Institute of Education. Some years of teaching followed, then attended Académie Julian in Paris, 1962–3, before returning to teaching in Wales. In early 1970s retired to write, paint and teach for Workers’ Educational Association. Showed at RWA, RA, Royal National Eisteddfod, SWG and elsewhere, including Abergavenny Art Group. Solo exhibitions included Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff, 1974. WAC holds work.
