Versatile artist, born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, who settled in Dublin, in the Irish Republic. Among awards and commissions were a Major Arts Council of Northern Ireland Award, 1988; A Waterfall of Souvenirs: Ulsterbus, Northern Ireland major public sculpture commission, 1991; and in 1992 Romulus & Seamus, Arts Council of Northern Ireland sculpture garden commission. Projects included Skybreaker, advertising panels on Belfast City Bus, 1984, and Big Shoe Dog, sculpture made from shoes, Dublin Airport, 1989. Took part in many group and other shows in Ireland and abroad. Solo exhibitions included A Monkey Town Besieged By Dogs, at Grapevine Arts Centre, Dublin, and tour, 1985; Douglas Hyde Gallery, Dublin, 1990; and Treasures of New York, Kerlin Gallery, Dublin, and tour, 1991.
