Painter, printmaker and illustrator, especially of landscape, and teacher. He was born in Cardiff where he attended the College of Art. Then started a teaching career that took him to a number of schools and colleges in Wales and England, including heading the art department at Battersea College of Education. Was elected RWA in 1994, at various times being a member of Society of Industrial Artists, WSW and The Welsh Group. Had many solo exhibitions including Howard Roberts Gallery in Cardiff, Richmond Hill Gallery in Surrey, Jablonski Gallery, University of Birmingham, and public galleries in Lincoln and Hull, in 1992 having a retrospective of paintings and prints at Circle Gallery, Pontypridd, with another at Brecknock Museum, Brecon, 1996.
