Painter of landscapes, born Monmouth. Retired there having been an estate agent in Ystradgynlais, Breconshire. He showed with SWG and Wye Valley Art Society and had several solo exhibitions in Ross-on-Wye. His illustrations for W J Smart’s Where Wye and Severn Flow, of 1949, typify his interest in the landscape of this border area, where he died at Skenfrith.
