Artist and teacher who trained at Newcastle University and Manchester Polytechnic and showed in group and solo exhibitions in north of England and in London. He was artist-in-residence in Milton Keynes, 1977–9, and in the next two years was a part-time lecturer at Sheffield Polytechnic. From 1982 he held a series of positions as a community art worker, including Northampton, Cheshire and Nottingham. Department of the Environment, Manchester Polytechnic, Open University and Milton Keynes Development Corporation hold his works.
