Painter, printmaker, illustrator and writer, born in Buxton, Derbyshire, who studied at Slade School of Fine Art. She showed extensively in Paris and at Lefevre and Cooling Galleries, SWA, ROI, RBA, Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool and elsewhere. With her artist and writer husband Jan Gordon, who predeceased her by six years, she travelled widely, producing popular books such as Two Vagabonds in the Balkans, 1925, Two Vagabonds in Albania, 1927, and London Roundabout, 1933. Otherwise lived in London.
