Figurative painter and sculptor, born in Paisley, Renfrewshire, who graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1996. He early on exhibited widely, venues including RSA; Royal Glasgow Institute of the Fine Arts, where he won an award; Compass Gallery, Glasgow; on the continent, including Kumulus Gallery, Maastricht, and World Trade Fair, Amsterdam, both in the Netherlands; and Thompson’s Gallery. Won the Mayfest Painting Prize. Davis’s Seven Deadly Sins, seven sculpted heads for Precious Records, received wide media attention. He was a member of Glasgow Art Club.
