Painter, born in Neath, Glamorgan. After attending Lancing College, Sussex, 1951–6, Davies went to Swansea College of Art, 1956–7, and then Chelsea College of Art, 1957–61, Bernard Meadows and Prunella Clough being among his teachers. For a time he then worked in the family steel company while continuing to paint. In 1963 he won a WAC Prize at SWG exhibition, and he also showed at SEA and with Howard Roberts Gallery, Cardiff. WAC holds his work.
