Painter, notably of portraits in tempera with an early-Italian feel, born in London. She was married to the barrister John Platts-Mills and was the mother of the film-maker Barney Platts-Mills, notable for the 1970 film Bronco Bullfrog. She studied with Ernest Jackson at Byam Shaw School of Drawing and Painting. Showed at RA, Phoenix Gallery in Lavenham and elsewhere. Tate Gallery holds her early Oriental Portrait. Lived in London and near Uckfield, Sussex. Died in London.
