Painter and draughtsman, born in Bristol, who did a foundation course at Falmouth School of Art, 1985–6, then graduated with honours in fine art/textiles at Goldsmiths’ College, 1986–9. Co-ordinated the education programme for Newlyn Art Gallery, St Ives International, 1997, in 1999 organisation and leading a course, The Representational to the Abstract, at Dartington Hall. Was elected a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists, 1995 (committee member, 1999), and an associate member of Penwith Society, 1996. Mixed shows included Salthouse Gallery, St Ives, 1989; Rainyday Gallery, Penzance, from 1993; Great Atlantic Gallery, St Just, from 1996; and White Gallery, Hove, 1999. Had a solo exhibition at Newlyn Gallery, 2001. The Jamieson Library, Newmill, and Slaughter and May held examples.
