Painter in oil and watercolour of landscapes and architecture, black-and-white artist, designer and typographer. Born at Great Kimble, Buckinghamshire, he studied art under F F May. Exhibitions included the RA, Société des Artistes Français, RBA, ROI, the Russell-Cotes Art Gallery and Museum, Bournemouth, Foyles Gallery and the Brighton and Worthing Art Galleries, in Sussex. Was a member of the Society of Sussex Painters. Official purchases include Maidstone Corporation, Luton Art Gallery and Luton Corporation. Sphere, Tatler, The Christian Science Monitor and Penguin Books used his work. Lived at Bexhill, Sussex.
