Painter in oil, born in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. She studied at Wimbledon School of Art, 1944–7, with Gerald Cooper, then Slade School of Fine Art, 1949–51, under William Townsend. She was elected ROI in 1952, and an honorary senior member in 1982. Solo shows included Hornsey Library, 1971, Barclays Bank, Egham, 1973, Egham Library, 1985, then a shared show at Egham Literary Institute, 1991. Wrote for Leisure Painter magazine. Lived in Egham, Surrey.
