Painter, born in Bradford where he died, although he also lived for a time in Lincolnshire. By profession a lighthouse builder and refurbisher, Arundel did not begin painting seriously until shortly before World War II, studying part-time at Bradford Arts Club. Showed at RA, Beaux Arts Gallery, Paris Salon and extensively in the provinces. City Art Gallery, Bradford, holds his work and gave him a retrospective in 1959.
